My Tattoos.

Hi guys,

So I thought I would start this post off as where I’ve been. I decided to take a break from blogging as I wasn’t really feeling it and my mental health was quite bad but I’m back and ready to start again. So let’s get into it.

So my first tattoo must have been about 2/3 years ago now. As it was my first tattoo I didn’t really think it about that much. If you know me you’ll know that You Me At Six are a massive part of me and has helped me through some shit. So why not get the logo? I don’t regret it at all. I just wish I went to a better tattooist because let’s face it. It isn’t that great..

Moving on to a couple of years later after me and my boyfriend had moved to Morecambe we both wanted new tattoos but it’s so hard to find a good tattooist but we finally found one and I wouldn’t change now. For anyone wondering it’s Shipwrecked in Lancaster.

My second one was definitely my most painful one. This picture was just after I got home. It was so so painful and I’m glad I did it but I wouldn’t do it again in a hurry!! This tattoo is another meaningful one as I’ve dealt with a lot of mental health issues and also lost members of family to cancer but I never gave up and this is a tattoo that means so much to me! It is now fully healed and doesn’t hurt at all!

Now onto my most recent one. This one is definitely my favourite one and took a long 3 hours to do but honestly I’m in love with this one. It’s still not 100% healed so I don’t have a healed picture just yet but I do have a few of when it was finished and I’m always asked who did it. I’ve always wanted to start a sleeve so why not a watercolour one?

I’m incredibly happy with this one and cannot wait to be back in a few months. Honestly this one didn’t hurt as much but once the colour was being put in it started to get tender on my arm as with watercolour it’s small strokes every time and god it makes your arm sore. I couldn’t bend it for 2 days but it’s healing so well and I’m in love with it.

I’m so happy that I decided to get tattoos. I wouldn’t turn back. They can be painful it really depends on you and the tattooist because mine is super careful and always asks if your ok! If you’re going to get one. Plan it. Don’t get something stupid that you’ll regret. Talk to your tattooist and always make sure you’re the legal age.

Thanks for reading. Hope you enjoyed. Any questions feel free to message me. See you next week.
