A Backpack That Makes A Difference.

We all want to help out with charity now and again and when you see something that touches and pulls on your heartstrings you just have to do something to help. This is how I felt when I saw a post about Madlug.

Who are Madlug?

Madlug are a company that is based in Northern Ireland which was founded in 2015 by a man called Dave Linton. A youth worker that was heartbroken to learn that children in care have to carry their belongings in a black bin bag and not a nice clean fresh backpack. With just £480 he decided to do something about this and created ‘buy one give one’ which means for every bag you will purchase one will be given to a child in care.

Why do I support them?

Ever since I was a young age I’ve always wanted to adopt/foster a child and be able to make a difference in their life and be able to offer them the loving home that they deserve. By purchasing this one bag I’m already helping a child live a better life. We sometimes get so stuck in our lives, we forget about other people, kids that have no family and have to carry their belongings in bin bags not knowing where they going next and we surely want to do something to change that right?

Madlug need your help.

Madlug want to help every child in care but with over 90,000 children in care they can’t possible reach them all but that isn’t stopping them from trying! With something for everyone from backpacks to gym bags to shoulder bags and even a suitcase they definitely stock for every person. The best thing as well if you didn’t want to get one of the bags you’re able to gift a bag for just £10 which is a no brainier, this £10 can help a child feel like a human being and not have to carry their lives in a black bin bag and have a lovely colourful backpack with them ready to start a new life! All the bags have stunning colours and make you stand out to get talking about the brand and the bag and that’s how we can help get the word out and spread the message for Madlug.

I love my backpack, it is able to fit so much into it even my laptop which I love! It is very well made and very sturdy and doesn’t feel like it will break anytime soon and I love supporting a charity that is home grown! This backpack helps me spread the message that every child has dignity and they deserve a new chance in life in a bag and not a black bin, we can all agree on that right? I can see this charity keep growing and growing and I can’t wait to see where they will be in a few years.

Have you heard of this charity before or will you be checking them out now?

If you’d like to check their website out I will link it here.
